One of the best dramatic scenes in Poland, founded in 1893, which is already at the turn of the XIX-XX centuries. gained wide popularity and significance among the theater public. Famous Polish directors and many talented actors worked here, as well as plays by world-famous authors. The building was erected by the architect J. Zaveisky.

It's an awesome venue but very old. It doesn't have a lot of capacity which makes it very small and intimate. I love the architecture from that time and it really makes it a fantastic experience even though it's not a modern acoustic redesigned venue.. Read more »

Coffee sat outside in the sun admiring the building the surroundings doesn't get any better


Enchanting scenery bringing to mind XVIII century theaters. Wonderful acoustics. Worth to visit for Capella Cracoviensis concerts.


Loved the Sigismund Opera!! This place has three most authentic ambience for such events!!
