Spandau Citadel

Berlin, Germany
4.4 / 30
A 17th-century fortress on the outskirts of Berlin, erected during the reign of Joachim II. At the beginning of the 20th century, weapons and ammunition were made on the territory of Spandau. In 1935, the Nazi secret laboratory was located here, where they developed chemical weapons. The last secret warehouse was found in the 70s. Tourists were allowed into the territory in 1992, after the final “defrosting” of the facility.

Hum... It's the best Spandau has to offer but not an unmissable sight. There is a cool cave with bats and some of the oldest buildings in the region.
Nice place check, there are various exhibiotns about art, archeology, history and mix of these, although can't say it's worth the entrance fee
