The official name of the church is the Church of St. Simeon and St. Helena. This is a picturesque Catholic church in the center of Minsk, built of red brick. It was erected at the beginning of the 20th century at the expense of the aristocrat Edward Voinilovich, whose children Simon and Alena died at a fairly early age. To perpetuate the memory of his beloved offspring, the nobleman planned to build a church and donated an impressive sum of money for these purposes.
