The palace was built in the XVII century in the Rococo style. He served as the summer residence of the Portuguese king Pedro II. Later, the building was used to accommodate dignitaries. Today, classical concerts are held on the territory of the palace. Particular attention is drawn to the luxurious Throne and Music Halls, as well as the magnificent and lavishly decorated royal chambers.

10.08.20A good place to visit during pandemic. Very nice chandeliers in almost every chamber. Don't miss the gardens, you can lose yourself for some hours.
