Przemysl has a long and rich history due to its geographical location. It is the second oldest city in Poland, after Krakow. The city lies in an area connecting mountains and lowlands. Through the city runs the Vigor River and the navigable Sun, making important trade routes through Przemysl and ensuring the importance of the city. It is located 12 km from the border with Ukraine and is an important station on the Lviv-Krakow route.
