Petrin TowerPrague, Czech Republic
4.3 / 10
A tower erected for the opening of the Industrial Exhibition of 1891. It was called the Prague Eiffel Tower. At first, the tower played the role of an observation deck, from where a good view of the city opened. In the middle of the 20th century, the first antenna for television broadcasting was placed in it, which led to an increase in the length of the structure by 20 meters. The total height of the Petrin Tower is 60 meters. The panoramic at the top is quite crowded and you can view the surrounding from windows. The best view points are from opened windows, but unfortunately those are quite few, it would probably be way better if there weren't windows at all, like during the climb to the top or at the lower panoramic area; if the top was a bit larger and didn't have windows it would have been well worth the 150 krona though.
Overall, I'd say it's still a good experience |
