The old royal palace, built at the end of the 19th century as a princely residence, after numerous reconstructions took the form of a Renaissance building. The walls of the building bear the memory of the Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance eras in the history of Prague Castle.

It was a great place to see I didn't have too much time so i bought 250 c ticket and there was the cathedral, the man event room and the old city included in the ticket, the problem is that it is always busy and to see some of the stuff in the old to.. Read more »


Most underwhelming part of the Prague castle. Looks like of it is under renovation so there’s not much to see. The informational signs are printed on clear glass and extremely difficult to read.


Interesting building for its historical meaning. The main chamber is impressive. The room where the defenestration episodes took place is a must see. Nothing else to see apart from that. 20 minutes inside are enough to see everything this place has t.. Read more »


Beautiful and awe inspiring. I was particularly impressed by the ceilings and imagining the banquet hall filled with people.


We came here because it was in our ticket price but we're not impressed by the place. There was nothing particularly to see and the place should be free. It's just an empty room. Yes it's quite lovely but nothing special. We entered and left as quick.. Read more »
