A big museum with collections from prehistoric to recent times. Most descriptions are provided in Romanian, English and Russian. There are a lot to see but not many really stand out. Nonetheless, you will surely learn a lot about the turbulent histor.. Read more »
It's worth it. Be prepared for a rollercoaster of emotion as one encounters many of the dark sides of human history. Best to visit on a bright sunny warm day. (Not a dark gloomy one).
I gave three stars because i thought a little more information in English would help. Apparently, there were sheets printed in English in most rooms. I still enjoyed the experience, as i've been to many similar museums, and feel i should congratulat.. Read more »
Beautiful building and cool artefacts. There were English descriptions throughout but there wasn’t much detail. Each room/section had an introduction but the artefacts only had simple labels. Worth a visit though as it only cost 10 lei.
A must do activity for anyone who is interested in history. You will find plenty of information and artefacts since prehistoric times until the recent years, especially about the occupation of Moldova by the Soviets. Another very interesting museum i.. Read more »
