The building was built in the neo-Renaissance style, designed by architect D. Schulz. There are exhibits that tell about the history of the Czech Republic. It is proposed to examine paleontological and anthropological collections, a library, a collection of coins, medals, sculptures and other materials found during excavations. The museum in addition to the main building has several branches.

Disappointing... The entrance hall was marvelous but many halls were empty. There was nothing to see in the museum. One of the main exhibitions was just a big hall with some Posters hanging from the ceiling. In general giant space for few exhibits. .. Read more »

The museum was good. Unfortunatelly, I went the second day was opened. So,the exhibitions were not totally finished and I could not see it all. However, i. Pretty sure they will fox that soon so i highly suggested to go!!
