A modern museum on the Mersey River embankment, which opened in 2011. The building of modern architecture was designed by the Danish town planning office. The museum exposition is dedicated to the history of the city, as well as the role that he played in the life of the country. In 2012, by decision of the Council of Europe, the Liverpool Museum was recognized as the best museum of the year. The funds contain about 6 thousand exhibits.

Good 2 level museum with interesting exhibits on Liverpool's history with free admission. Currently, they have a free exhibit until November 3, 2019 on about John Lennon and Yoko Ono which was outstanding. Well worth a visit if you have the time.

Unfortunately couldn't get round it all due to time constraints with a disabled relative. But place was excellent. And staff very friendly. Making a donation was really easy with a quick contact less payment or cash if preferred. Well worth a wonder .. Read more »
