There are a lot of food choices as well that have a very fair price and my kids liked them even if they are a picky eater. Over all we would love to go back here. |

This was the first time I have ever been, I was not disappointed. This was just amazing to see all the different areas in the museum. The rain fores.. Read more »t intrigued me. The butterflies were awesome to see. Aquarium was also amazing to see the jellyfish tanks.
Saw the Dark Universe show, wow what a great informative show.
There is a cafeteria style eating area.

This museum is a gem with various interesting exhibits, but it is kinda short - you can cover it in a hour or so. I've heard that most of the exhibits.. Read more » were closed that day, which makes the admission ticket a bit "expensive." Anyway, it was actually a good, world class modern art museum. My teens were very interested in the first hour but then they got bored.
As a tip, you should buy your tickets on line to by pass the long lines. We actually bough the tickets as soon as we arrived at the site, and went straight to the will call. Wonder why those lining up to purchase tickets didn't do the same.
There is also parking underground. You should probably wait until dark to see the lights.
I would come here when all the renovations are done, and the new museum of motion pictures is open to the public |

Beautiful place hidden in the la Canada residential area. It's nice to go for a walk, to lay on the grass or even enjoy the beautiful scenery. I wish .. Read more »they would let you picnic but unfortunately you are not allowed to as it attracts animals. They have concerts in the summer if you are a member you can get tickets to these concerts.Tickets are normally $25. |

You cannot miss this photogenic spot when in LA. This is a signature photo spot when you’re in town; therefore, it is always crowded. The light looks .. Read more »much smaller outside. It is also important to choose the time. I went at afternoon time and I think that’s the most crowded time. My friends went at later night time and it’s much better. It also depends on if you want the photos in the daylight or night time. Each time has its own pretty! |

Every second Thursday of the month, Los Angeles County Museum of Art transforms into a big giant art festival. All the art galleries open their doors .. Read more »to the public, the food trucks line up to fill hungry bellies, and talented people display their art work on the sidewalks. You truly get the feel of Los Angeles by being there. The creativity infests the air and you can't help but to feel motivated and have butterflies while witness amazing art. |

Located a block away from Hollywood and highland, I'd recommend street parking if you can find it or taking the train. This is perfect for groups or c.. Read more »ouples, if you don't have your own tripod you can rent one for $7. The have several rooms and I love that they have examples hung up so you know what your picture should look like, my favorite room is the upside down room it is a 5minute time limit in each room so get strategic. Make sure you're getting both the ceiling and the floor so your picture comes out perfect! If you're a local or visitor this is definitely a fun thing to do when visit Hollywood. |

It is extraordinary that in this wealthy metropolis, the main art collection is so insignificant. I’m not talking about the current remodel, which was.. Read more » not needed. The building has been remodeled not that long ago. Incidentally, the contracted painters could not even cut the paint properly at the edges. The paint colors were more in keeping with a provincial museum in the Southern Trough. There are almost no masterpieces from any period. It is poorly presented, organized, and curated. Now, they are going to build an expensive monstrosity, instead of spending the money on acquisitions. |
