The royal residence, the smallest of all the palaces belonging to the ruling family. The building was built in the XVII century. for the Earl of Nottingham, but King William of Orange bought it and made it his summer country estate. Kensington Palace (rather a mansion compared to other royal palaces) is located in one of the western districts of London. Nowadays, the families of the Duke of Kent and Gloucester live there.

This was a great place to explore. As of February 2020 there is a theatre group performing a historical piece within the 16th century part of the palace aka kings rooms. It’s a great way to explore the palace if you do and is quite funny

It's a lovely place with coffee shops on its territory just in the gorgeous hyde park, magnificent and a little bit posh. One of the must do things while in London. You can easily access a few other spots as it's super central location.
