The most famous symbol of Paris (and all of France), a place of pilgrimage for tourists from all over the world. Several million people visit the monument annually. The tower is a metal structure 324 meters high with elevators, observation deck, restaurants and a lighthouse on top. It was built by Gustav Eiffel and originally served as an entry to the 1900 Paris World's Fair.

We just loved our visit to the Eiffel Tower. This was our first visit and we were amazed at how big it is. It stands much wider than it looks on the pictures. We suggest you to book the tickets in advance online and must see the Paris City from top. .. Read more »


Security was fairly quick and easy to get through. I wish it was a little more organized when it comes to catching an elevator up or down the tower. Besides that, the size of the tower is breath-taking. They also have a fairly priced gift shop. If yo.. Read more »
