Deutsches Museum

Munich, Germany
4.6 / 10
A unique museum demonstrating the achievements of German technology and science. The expositions are located on six thematic tiers: hydraulic engineering, shipping, mining, trackless transport, oil and gas, power machines. The museum stores unique samples of equipment, the only ones from the surviving (that is, not destroyed at the request of the victorious countries) after two World Wars.

This museum is quite outdated in the sense that it doesn’t have anything new to say and the old exhibits are not well explained or well placed contextually for the young and old to comprehend. Just my opinion anyway. Could be better curated and expla.. Read more »

So many interesting exhibits it's hard to pack them into a day. If you are really interested in a topic, I would only be able to get through 2-4 exhibits in depth. They have English translations for at least 80% of the items.

No words can describe the magic that surrounds this place... Everything was perfectly presented... Parts of technological evolution in every aspect... All ages must feel excited visiting... You need an entire day...

Amazing place, so much to see and do. It is impossible to see everything properly in just a day so be prepared for multiple visits. My tip: get the map and decide which areas are more important to you and check them out first. I personally loved the .. Read more »

This has got to be one of the most complete science and technology museums in the planet. While some of the exhibits are a bit old, it's actually quite appropriate since what they represent is an important historical story. You'll need up to two hour.. Read more »
