The museum is considered one of the largest galleries in Eastern Europe. Twenty museum collections contain more than 27 thousand works of Belarusian and world art. The museum exhibits paintings, sculptures, graphic images, icons, textile panels, decorations. Belarusian art is represented by a collection of more than 11 thousand exhibits. The museum has several branches - in Mogilev, Minsk and Raubichi.
