Existing since 1994. The funds are more than 22 thousand units. The exhibits are archaeological finds in the territory of Adjara. Since representatives of different peoples and cultures lived here at different times, the collection turned out to be diverse and similar to no other. In 2007, an exhibit was opened to showcase jewelry samples. The museum has a restoration department.
