The Museum of Archeology is located at the entrance to the Old Town. It opened in 1994. The impressive exposition occupies four floors and consists of objects belonging to the Thracian, Roman and Byzantine historical periods. Here visitors will be able to see collections of icons, dishes, jewelry, coins, ship accessories, as well as statues (or rather, what is left of them) and ancient funerary plates.

The museum has too small exhibition. It's fine to visit if you have free time but even if you don't visit, you wouldn't miss much.
